Easy to bend open and close feature a half circle of double lined outer facing CZ gems. The material is brass with platinum plating or 14kt gold plating in 20G 8mm diameter only most commonly for nostril and earlobe.
Because brass contains copper, it can oxidize with moisture or skin chemistry and leave a harmless greenish tint on the skin. It isn’t an allergic reaction, but it does make these pieces better suited for occasional or event wear rather than daily use.
